Brief Biographical Sketch:

Brian, a senior at Cornell University, is majoring in health care policy. Dedicated to shaping the future of health care, his interests lie in the economic intricacies of health systems, particularly with a focus on behavioral economics and provider reimbursement models. His commitment to advocacy strengthened working as a medical assistant at a primary care clinic in Chinatown. Having witnessed disparities in health care access, he wishes to educate patients with knowledge about health insurance options and affordable care. Currently, Brian does research at Simmaron Research, where he analyzes data for a pharmaceutical clinical trial on patients with ME/CFS. While at Cornell, he serves as an inpatient phlebotomist at a nearby hospital, giving back to the local community while deepening his understanding of patient care. With these diverse interests and experiences, he hopes to pursue a career in trauma surgery and critical care medicine.
