Come explore the world of food fermentation with us as we look at different types of kimchi! We will be discussing the process of fermentation, how it affects our foods, and finally tasting different types of kimchi that have undergone different fermentation periods. Note: traditionally, kimchi is not vegetarian, so if you have any dietary concerns, please let us know!

Welcome to the world of color! In this class, we will be making fabric dyes from common vegetables and exploring the chemistry behind their color. Students will be able to dye a bandana and take it home!

Come join us as we explore the world of microorganisms through the sourdough starter fermentation process! Students will be able to bring home their own little jar of sourdough starter and in instruction sheet as to how to take care of it.

The ground and soil outside is so commonplace that we rarely notice it anymore. Today we will take a trip down into the world of the undergrowth and learn about the strange creatures and events that happen there. You'll even be able to take home a mini terrarium! We will be working with soil and mealworms.
